I like to find new ways to explain consistency so it looks normal to people and less like a phenomenon.

When I was overweight most of my life, I knew my weight was something I was going to have to take care of eventually. We all have our reasons for pushing self-care to the back burner.
I know I had my I admit most of them were the same excuses we all use. There is nothing new under the Sun, especially when it comes to excuses. You’ll never hear an excuse you haven’t heard before.

The bottom line never changed.  The body I wanted came with a lifestyle.

To help accept what has to be done I had to find a way to lock in that lifestyle permanently.
So let’s change the perspective Intraconversions style.

Look at your dream body as your dream job.
This isn’t kind of dream job where you sit in a chair and talk big things and the profits flow in without you lifting a finger. This job doesn’t even pay extra for good intentions. All pay is based on your personal efforts and performance. And the pay isn’t money. It’s predictable results.

Your role is everything from the CEO to the worker. You call all the shots. You take all the heat and there is no co-worker to drag you down or to blame.

But all the rewards go to you. Rewards like taking care of yourself long term. Being able to play with your kids or your grandkids without getting winded. Being able to carry heavy things. Being strong enough to lift up. Loved ones. Figuratively literally and even physically in that time of need.
Looking good in the clothes you want. Heck, even looking better without clothes.

The benefits that come with this job are endless. When you think about it like that, it doesn’t seem so much like a job. It’s the lifelong career you’ve been waiting for.

With all that being said, the job does come with a list of duties that must be done.

Every position has requirements, especially your dream body.

You don’t negotiate requirements. You accept them because you want the position.
You may ask what are the requirements of my dream job/body?

The job description
Nutrition
Cardio
Strength training
Daily movement
Sleep and recovery
Taking care of yourself

You can’t point at cardio and say that’s not my job. No one else can lift your weights. If it’s on the job description, it’s your responsibility.

Just like any job. Don’t expect to get paid if you call out all the time.

You’re expected to show up. If it affects results directly and consistency pays dividends.

How long will you keep wanting and wishing?

Accept the responsibilities and take the position!

Learn to Love the job and it won’t feel like work.

Everything new may seem difficult at first, the more different it is. Be patient with yourself.

You’re worth the work.

I’m Cornelius

A few years ago, right before the “pandemic” I experienced a mindset shift that turned what could have been a midlife crisis into a midlife transformation for the better. What started out as a quest for happiness, ended up unlocking a key to freedom-true freedom. I realized that the greatest transformations start from within. By embracing self love. I reshaped my body and redefined my life and sense of purpose.
