Embrace the You Factor: Change Your Perspective

Intraconversions is about choosing perspectives that change how you see yourself.

Throughout life, the pessimistic view is often the majority opinion. Over time, many people start identifying themselves with the negative side of statistics. They assume the averages dictate the outcome, forgetting the one factor that changes everything: themselves.

The you factor.

You are the differentiator. And when I say you, I don’t just mean genetics. I mean your choices, your habits, your decisions, and most importantly, your attitude. Those things separate people far more than genetics ever will.

Can you see yourself doing it?

People have to treat fitness as a lifestyle for it to last, just like a new occupation or hobby. You have to see yourself doing the thing and enjoying the thing before you even start. If you already believe it’s going to suck and fill yourself with dread, you’re probably going to be right.

On the other hand, if you can see yourself enjoying the process, enjoying your new life, and enjoying your new body, you can actually feel the excitement beforehand. And once you feel that feeling, you’ve got something powerful. That’s the feeling you start with. Take it and run with it. Never look back.

I hope you wouldn’t take a job if you knew you were going to hate it. If you did, it probably wouldn’t last long, and you would suffer through the whole experience.

But if you got your dream job, it would never feel like work.

That’s how I look at taking care of myself and teaching people how to take care of themselves. I genuinely look forward to it.

Look forward.

That’s another thing I teach people to practice: looking forward and expecting good. It takes practice, but it works.

Everybody is great at looking back, but when they revisit the past, the main thing they seem to bring back is fear of failure.

I believe you should revisit the victories of your past with the same detail and enthusiasm that you revisit your losses.

If you were actually keeping score, you would realize your record is remarkable. Countless victories have been forgotten, while losses become stories retold over and over again.

But every loss carries a lesson. And the moment you learn the lesson, the loss begins transforming into a victory.

So if you find yourself feeling down, or thinking you can’t do something because of the last time you tried, take the time to find the lesson hidden inside the loss. Turn it into a victory.

Then walk in your victory.

If you’re ready to stop identifying with old limitations and start building a lifestyle you can actually enjoy and maintain, Intraconversions Coaching is here to help you take that first step.

Let’s build the new story.

I’m Cornelius

A few years ago, right before the “pandemic” I experienced a mindset shift that turned what could have been a midlife crisis into a midlife transformation for the better. What started out as a quest for happiness, ended up unlocking a key to freedom-true freedom. I realized that the greatest transformations start from within. By embracing self love. I reshaped my body and redefined my life and sense of purpose.
