People ask, “Is there such a thing as doing too much?”
And honestly—yeah. Sometimes I feel spent. Like I’m burning the candle at both ends.
But I had to stop and ask myself:
Is it really that I’m doing too much… or am I just disorganized?
Most of the time, for me, that feeling of being overwhelmed doesn’t come from the number of things I’m doing—it comes from how I’m approaching them. It’s when I’m spread too thin, unclear, or trying to move forward with no structure.
I’ve got goals—
Creative goals.
Musical goals.
YouTube goals.
Website goals.
Financial goals.
Fitness goals.
Life goals.
That’s a lot, right? And if I went at all of them randomly—just throwing effort at each one hoping something sticks—that would definitely be doing too much.
But here’s what I realized:
It’s not how many hats you wear, it’s how you wear them.
All of my goals actually aim at one higher goal: creative financial freedom.
So instead of compartmentalizing everything, I departmentalized it.
Each goal is its own department in the same store.
Music? That’s the creative department.
YouTube? That’s the communication department.
Fitness? That’s the energy and lifestyle department.
My website? That’s the message hub.
All of them working toward the same bigger mission.
That mindset shift changed everything.
Now, instead of trying to wear all the hats at once—I rotate them.
Today might be music day.
Tomorrow might be filming day.
Another day might be for organizing and planning.
You put on the right hat when it’s time—and you give it your full energy.
Because trying to wear all your hats at once? That’s chaos.
But knowing when to switch hats? That’s wisdom.
And this goes beyond creativity too.
We wear life hats every single day.
I wear my dad hat—which means I’m a chef, a mentor, a protector.
Sometimes I’m the fun one, the silly one, the homework helper.
I wear my husband hat—that’s support, presence, stability.
I wear the family man hat—making sure the home runs smooth, the energy stays high, and everyone’s good.
That’s not “doing too much”—
That’s life.
And when you embrace those hats instead of resenting them, everything flows better.
Because when you’re organized, present, and intentional—
those hats don’t weigh you down…
they fit.
The goal isn’t to do less.
The goal is to do what matters with clarity, rhythm, and love.
Because when it’s your mission, your store, your life—
you can wear all the hats…
just not all at once.
Have a great day!
